Tension has escalated along the Pakistan–Afghanistan border following a fierce clash at the Durand Line. Reports indicate that Taliban fighters launched attacks targeting Pakistan Army personnel and check posts near the border.

According to information received, more than 20 security personnel from both sides have reportedly been killed. Heavy losses on the Pakistan side are being claimed. Firing is said to be continuing in the border areas, leaving local residents gripped by fear.
