A college student lost his life after a hoarding collapsed at Aiginia in Bhubaneswar. According to family members, the youth had returned from college and was standing at the spot when the hoarding suddenly fell on him.

The victim’s family alleged that despite their repeated pleas to rescue him quickly, it took nearly three hours before he was pulled out. By then, they claim, he had already died. “Can you bring my brother back?” a grieving family member said while demanding justice.

Following the incident, family members and local residents staged a blockade on the National Highway, seeking accountability and action over the tragic hoarding collapse.
