An explosion occurred inside a firecracker warehouse while firecrackers were being stocked in SBI Colony under Purunakatak Police Station in Boudh. Fire Services teams reached the spot following the blast.

Police have arrested the firecracker trader in connection with the incident. The development comes amid concerns over safety violations.
