In Bhubaneswar’s Salia Sahi, excise officials led a special drive against an illegal country liquor hub, uncovering a hidden distillery and seizing large quantities of country-made liquor and raw materials. The operation, part of ongoing efforts to curb illicit alcohol production and trade, ended with seized pocha (fermented wash) and liquor being destroyed on the spot, authorities said.
