Elina Dash’s Sharp Attack on BJD, Says ‘Only Jagannath Is the Party’s Hope’

BJD leader Elina Dash today launched a sharp criticism of her own party, using a metaphorical “Barada” analogy to indicate a steady decline in the party’s strength. Referring to numbers dropping from 51 to 50 and now to 48, she hinted at internal issues within the Biju Janata Dal without naming anyone directly.

In a Facebook post, Elina Dash strongly criticised the situation within the party and, without taking the name of VK Pandian, targeted him in harsh language. She wrote that because of “servitude” [as stated in source], BJD workers across Odisha are suffering at the grassroots level. Elina further stated that Jagannath alone is now the hope for BJD.

Not only Elina Dash, senior leader Shrimayee has also once again attacked the BJD in her characteristic style, adding to the growing signs of internal dissent within the party.
