In Ganjam district’s Muzagada forest area, wild elephants have caused significant damage to agriculture by trampling and eating paddy crops and smashing a banana plantation in Khapara village under Kulad beat. Villagers reported that the pachyderms damaged both harvested paddy bags and banana plants, leading to heavy loss for the farmers affected by the herd’s rampage.
