Election Commission Doubles BLO Remuneration; Supervisors and EROs Also Get Major Hike

BLOଙ୍କ ପାରିଶ୍ରମିକକୁ ଦୁଇଗୁଣା ବୃଦ୍ଧିକଲେ ନିର୍ବାଚନ କମିଶନ । BLOଙ୍କ ପାରିଶ୍ରମିକ ୬ ହଜାରରୁ ୧୨ ହଜାର ଟଙ୍କାକୁ ବୃଦ୍ଧି କରାଯାଇଛି । ସେହିଭଳି ଭୋଟର ତାଲିକା ଅପଡେଟ୍ ପାଇଁ ମିଳିବ ଅତିରିକ୍ତ ଦୁଇ ହଜାର ଟଙ୍କା। ପୂର୍ବରୁ ଏଥିପାଇଁ ହଜାରେ ଟଙ୍କା ପ୍ରଦାନ କରାଯାଉଥିଲା। BLO ସୁପରଭାଇଜରଙ୍କୁ ଏଣିକି ୧୨ ହଜାର ବଦଳରେ ମିଳିବ ୧୮ ହଜାର ଟଙ୍କା । ERO ବା ଭୋଟର ତାଲିକା ପଞ୍ଜିକରଣ ଅଧିକାରୀ ଏବଂ AEROଙ୍କୁ ୨୫ ହଜାର ଟଙ୍କା ଲେଖାଏଁ ପ୍ରଦାନ କରାଯିବ।

The Election Commission has doubled the remuneration for Booth Level Officers (BLOs), raising it from ₹6,000 to ₹12,000. Additionally, BLOs will now receive ₹2,000 for voter list update work, compared to the earlier ₹1,000. BLO Supervisors will receive an increased payment of ₹18,000 instead of ₹12,000, while Electoral Registration Officers (EROs) and Assistant EROs will be paid up to ₹25,000.

Officials say the revision aims to strengthen voter list management and enhance the efficiency of electoral field operations across the country.
