An unusual case has emerged from Khordha, where an elderly man, Ramachandra Senapati, has approached the Odisha High Court demanding that he be given 60 grams of opium, claiming he cannot survive without it. According to his plea, he has been addicted to opium since his younger days, and the earlier quantity of 40 grams is no longer enough for him.
