A harrowing incident unfolded in Durgapur, West Bengal, where a second-year MBBS student from Odisha was allegedly gang-raped near her college campus. The survivor, a 23-year-old woman from Jaleswar, Odisha, was reportedly assaulted by multiple men on Friday evening after going out for dinner with a male classmate. The police have arrested three individuals in connection with the case, while two others remain at large. The victim is currently receiving medical treatment and is in stable condition.
