Dropout Rate Rises to 15% in 2024–25; Class IX & X Worst Hit

ରାଜ୍ୟରେ ପୁଣି ବଢିଲା ଡ୍ରପ୍ ଆଉଟ । ଡ୍ରପ୍ ଆଉଟକୁ ନେଇ ବିଧାନସଭାରୁ ଆସିଲା ସାଂଘାତିକ ଚିତ୍ର । ୨୦୨୪-୨୫ ଶିକ୍ଷାବର୍ଷ ତଥ୍ୟ ଅନୁସାରେ, ୧୫ ପ୍ରତିଶତ ପିଲା ପାଠ ଛାଡ଼ିଛନ୍ତି । ନବମ ଓ ଦଶମ ଶ୍ରେଣୀରେ ସବୁଠୁ ଅଧିକ ପିଲା ଛାଡୁଛନ୍ତି ପାଠପଢା । ଯେଉଁଥିରେ ଝିଅଙ୍କ ତୁଳନାରେ ପୁଅଙ୍କ ସଂଖ୍ୟା ଅଧିକ ରହିଛି ।
A concerning picture on school dropouts has emerged from the Odisha Legislative Assembly. As per data for the 2024–25 academic year, nearly 15% of students in the state have dropped out of school.
