The Doctors’ Union has withdrawn its ongoing agitation following a discussion between OMSA representatives and the Health Minister. The decision came after the government gave firm assurances addressing the concerns raised by the doctors.

According to the association, the government has made strong commitments, but official procedures will require some time to be completed. Hence, the doctors have decided to give the government adequate time to act on its promises.

The association clarified that keeping this in mind, the agitation has been suspended for now, expressing hope that the assurances will be implemented through due government processes.
