Dhanu Yatra Ends with Kansa’s Death on Final Day in Bargarh

ଆଜି ଧନୁଯାତ୍ରାର ଅନ୍ତିମ ଦିବସ । ଗତ ଡ଼ିସେମ୍ବର 24 ତାରିଖରୁ ଆରମ୍ଭ ହୋଇଥିବା ବରଗଡ ବିଶ୍ୱପ୍ରସିଦ୍ଧ ଧନୁଯାତ୍ରା ଆଜି ଶେଷ ଦିନରେ କଂସ ବଧ ହେବ । ଦୀର୍ଘ ୧୧ଦିନ ଧରି ଚାଲିଥିବା ଏହି ମୁକ୍ତାକାଶ ରଙ୍ଗମଞ୍ଚରେ କୃଷ୍ଣ ଜନ୍ମଠାରୁ ଆରମ୍ଭକରି ମଥୁରା ଗମନ ପରି ସମସ୍ତ ଦୃଶ୍ୟ ଅଭିନିତ ହୋଇ ସାରିଛି । ଅନ୍ତିମ ଦିବସରେ କଂସ ବଧ ଓ ଉଗ୍ରସେନଙ୍କ ରାଜ୍ୟାଭିଷେକ ସହ ଧନୁଯାତ୍ରା ଉଦଯାପିତ ହେବ ।

Today marks the **last day of the world-famous Dhanu Yatra festival in Bargarh, Odisha, which began on December 24 and has run for 11 days as the world’s largest open-air theatre festival. The annual cultural spectacle transforms the entire town into the mythical city of Mathura, bringing to life the **legendary Krishna Leela and myth of Krishna and his tyrant uncle Kansa on streets and stages across the region.
