A legal setback has come for noted jatra antagonist Piyush Tripathy, as the court has barred him from performing on stage until the next hearing. The restriction has been imposed in connection with an alleged breach of contract with a jatra party.

Despite the ongoing dispute, Piyush Tripathy had performed on the 5th, appearing in Singhabahini’s play ‘Tu Mo Bajrangi’. Following this performance, the court issued an order restraining him from further stage appearances until the matter is heard again.
