Odisha is currently under the grip of a severe cold wave, with temperatures plunging sharply across the state. In the Similipal Tiger Reserve area (Mayurbhanj district), the mercury dropped to minus 1°C at Upper Baraha Kamuda, marking one of the lowest temperatures recorded in the region this season.
