Cold Wave in Kandhamal: Frost-Like Ice Forms as Temperatures Plunge

କନ୍ଧମାଳରେ ଜାରି ରହିଛି ହାଡ଼ ଭଙ୍ଗା ଶୀତ। ଜିଲ୍ଲାରେ ପାରଦ ଦିନକୁ ଦିନ ଖସିବାରେ ଲାଗିଛି । ଗତକାଲି ଜି.ଉଦୟଗିରିରେ ଏ ବର୍ଷର ସର୍ବନିମ୍ନ ତାପମାତ୍ରା 4 ଡିଗ୍ରୀ ସେଲସିଅସ ରେକର୍ଡ଼ କରାଯାଇଥିଲା। ସେହିଭଳି ଫୁଲବାଣୀରେ 5.2 ଏବଂ ଦାରିଙ୍ଗବାଡିରେ 7 ଡିଗ୍ରୀ ସର୍ବନିମ୍ନ ତାପମାତ୍ରା ରହିଥିଲା । ଫଳରେ ଜିଲ୍ଲାର ବିଭିନ୍ନ ଅଞ୍ଚଳରେ ହାଡ଼ଭଙ୍ଗା ଶୀତ ଜାରି ରହିଛି । ବିଭିନ୍ନ ସ୍ଥାନରେ ପଡ଼ୁଥିବା କାକର ବୁନ୍ଦା ବରଫ ପାଲଟିଯାଉଛି ।

A severe cold wave continues in Kandhamal district, Odisha, with mercury levels dropping sharply across the region. Places like G. Udayagiri, Phulbani, Phulbani-area Fulbani/Phulbani (Phulbani), and Daringbadi are recording some of the lowest temperatures this season, including a night minimum around 4 °C to 7 °C in G. Udayagiri, 5.2 °C in Phulbani, and around 7 °C in Daringbadi, according to local weather observations. Residents are witnessing ice-like formation on dew drops, turning into frost-like patches on the ground in several locations as the chill grips the district
