With Christmas and New Year celebrations around the corner, strict security arrangements have been put in place across the city to ensure public safety and order. Additional police forces will be deployed to manage traffic control, checkpoints will be set up at all major intersections, and officers in plain clothes will be monitoring crowds. Police Commissioner S. Devadatta Singh said that anyone found driving under the influence will be stopped and legal action taken. Entry and exit routes will be under constant watch, and Zero Night celebrations will be regulated to specific time limits.
