Offline ticket sales for the upcoming match at Barabati Stadium began today, yet a massive crowd had already gathered since last night in hope of securing tickets — resulting in confusion and chaotic scenes outside the counters. When approached for comment, a woman in the queue (referred to as “mausi”) remained silent — “Ūn chuṃ pade kichhi kahileni mausi” — (she didn’t say anything).

The silence speaks volumes: many fans, despite waiting in long lines overnight, ended up empty–handed or overwhelmed by the disorder. This incident highlights troubling crowd-management and the frustration among ordinary cricket lovers who came with hope but faced mismanagement.

Barabati Stadium, which recently reduced ticket capacity for upcoming games, is now under scrutiny again as fans question fair access and smooth conduct of ticket sale.
