In Sundargarh, the CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) launched a raid at an MCL (Mahanadi Coalfields Limited) coal mine site after allegations surfaced about stolen coal mining in the area. A three-member CBI team from Delhi conducted the operation in connection with claims of illicit coal extraction and transportation at Kholatada.
