CBI Chargesheet Reveals Shocking Details in Police SI Exam Scam, OPRB Under Scanner

Shocking details have emerged in the CBI chargesheet filed in the Police Sub-Inspector (SI) Examination Scam. OTV has accessed a copy of the chargesheet submitted by the Central Bureau of Investigation, which brings the Odisha Police Recruitment Board (OPRB) under serious suspicion.

According to the chargesheet, all key deals were allegedly finalised as early as March 2025. The responsibility of printing the question papers was with OPRB. However, Silicon Tech Lab MD Suresh Nayak allegedly committed irregularities by printing an extra set of question papers and taking it away. These question papers were allegedly shown to job aspirants to lure them, with deals struck at ₹25 lakh per job.

The plan reportedly collapsed when the March examination was suddenly cancelled. However, after the exam was rescheduled for October and it was decided to conduct the test using the previously printed question papers, the middlemen’s hopes were revived. Fresh deals were struck and the alleged sale of jobs resumed aggressively.
