Following the suspicious death of PG student Suraj Kujur of the Department of Economics, Sambalpur University, the Superintendent of Brahmaputra Hostel, Professor Rajendra Kumar Behera, has shared his reaction. He said he received a phone call from the office attendant around 8 pm yesterday evening, informing him that something had happened at the hostel.

Professor Behera stated that Suraj Kujur was a very good student. He added that only after a detailed investigation will it become clear why the student took such a step, indicating that the exact cause of death is yet to be established.
