During his Odisha tour, Chief Election Commissioner of India, Gyanesh Kumar, along with his family, visited the Shri Mandir (Jagannath Temple) in Puri. He offered his prayers to Mahaprabhu and sought detailed insights from the temple's Chief Administrator, Arvind Padhi.

CEC Gyanesh Kumar reportedly asked several questions regarding temple management and operations, showing interest in understanding the administrative and operational aspects of one of India’s most revered temples.
