A bomb threat was received by the High Court through an email, prompting heightened security in the court complex. Police teams, including the Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad (BDDS), were immediately deployed to conduct thorough searches of the premises and ensure the safety of judges, lawyers, staff and visitors.

Such bomb threat emails have triggered similar security alerts across Indian courts in recent days, causing evacuations and precautionary checks, although many have later been treated as hoaxes with no explosives found.
