BJP legislators in Odisha have requested the Chief Minister to reconsider the recent hike in MLAs’ salaries. The issue was raised during an MLA party meeting, where members urged the government to respect public opinion on the matter.

The legislators conveyed to the Chief Minister that the decision on salary enhancement should be reviewed again, keeping in mind the sentiments of the people. They emphasised the need for reconsideration rather than immediate implementation.
