BJP MLA Ramesh Jena has strongly criticised local political leaders over the recurring accidents on the Haladiapadar overbridge near Berhampur city in Ganjam district, Odisha, India. During an assembly discussion, he blamed the design and construction decisions taken under the previous government, pointing fingers at the late minister Surya Narayan Patro and former Berhampur mayor Pintu Das for being responsible for the bridge’s layout decisions that may have contributed to the mishaps.
