In the aftermath of the massive fire at a supermarket near Dhauli‑Lingipur in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, authorities have indicated that compensation will be provided to the supermarket owner for items that were not damaged in the blaze. The fire, which erupted late Monday night on the third floor of the multi‑storey supermarket, has been burning for many hours, destroying goods worth lakhs of rupees and rendering the building unsafe.
