Youth and Student BJD staged a protest in front of the TPCODL office in Bhubaneswar, opposing the installation of smart meters and Tata Power’s additional security deposit notice.

During the protest, BJD activists damaged smart meters while demanding immediate withdrawal of the notice and rollback of the smart meter system. Hundreds of workers participated in the demonstration.

The protest was led by Youth BJD President Chinmay Sahu and Student BJD leader Ipsita Sahu, with party workers raising slogans outside the TPCODL office.
