BJD Supremo Naveen Patnaik on Sunday firmly dismissed rumours about a possible split in the Biju Janata Dal, stating that the party will not break. He made the remarks while addressing party workers from the stage during the BJD Foundation Day programme.

Naveen Patnaik said some political parties are spreading false rumours that the BJD will split, but asserted that the party has existed earlier and will continue to remain united. He stressed that the BJD is not a party of one or two leaders but is deeply connected with the emotions of Odisha and its people. He further stated that the BJD will remain the voice of Odias not just now, but even for the next 100 years.
