Former MP Prasanna Patasani has reacted to the possibility of a new regional party in Odisha, making a strong statement that the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) no longer exists. He directly targeted Pandian, holding him responsible for the current state of the party.

Patasani said the regional party was originally formed in the name of Biju Babu, but alleged that Pandian had broken the organisation. He claimed that people did not vote for BJD because, according to him, the party has lost its identity. Raising questions over Pandian’s position, Patasani asked what future he now holds.
