“BJD Is in a Sad Condition,” Says RS MP Samantaray After Claiming Naveen Was Isolated

ଉପରାଷ୍ଟ୍ରପତି ନିର୍ବାଚନ ପୂର୍ବରୁ ନବୀନ ବାବୁ କଲ୍‌ କରି କହିଥିଲେ ଭୁବନେଶ୍ବର ଆସିଲେ ଦେଖା କରିବ। ହେଲେ ମତେ ଦେଖା କରିବାର ସୁଯୋଗ ଦିଆଯାଉନି। ନବୀନଙ୍କୁ ଗୃହବନ୍ଦୀ କରି ରଖାଯାଇଛି ଓ ସବୁ ତଥ୍ୟ ତାଙ୍କୁ ଲୁଚାଯାଉଛି ବୋଲି ଅଭିଯୋଗ ଆଣିଛନ୍ତି ଦେବାଶିଷ। ଦୁଃଖଦାୟକ ସ୍ଥିତିରେ ଗତି କରୁଛି ବିଜେଡି ବୋଲି କହିଛନ୍ତି ଦେବାଶିଷ।

BJD Rajya Sabha MP Debashish Samantaray has alleged that Naveen Patnaik is being “house-detained” and that key information is being withheld from him. Samantaray stated that, ahead of the Vice-President election, Naveen Babu had personally called him and said they would meet when he visited Bhubaneswar, but he was later denied the opportunity.

According to Samantaray, this shows that people around Naveen are blocking access and shielding him from facts. He also remarked that the BJD is currently moving through a “sad and unfortunate situation”.

The remarks intensify the ongoing internal friction within the party and add to his earlier claims about restricted access to the former Chief Minister.
