In Bhubaneswar, students of the BJB Joint Two Colleges (Buxi Jagabandhu Bidyadhar College) have expressed dissatisfaction over hostel food, alleging that maggots and insects were found in meals served at the hostel. The complaints reportedly arose after students noticed pests in the food multiple times, prompting unrest among the inmates. Despite raising the issue with the hostel superintendent, students say they did not get an adequate response, leading to frustration and protest.
