Big Breakthrough for Commissionerate Police: 7-Member Cyber Fraud Gang Busted, 4 Bank Employees Among Arrested

In a major success, the Commissionerate Police have busted a large cyber fraud gang and arrested seven accused, including four bank employees. The cyber police seized hard disks, computers, laptops, mobile phones, cheque books, SIM cards and scanners used in cyber crimes. The gang allegedly duped people by luring them with promises of doubling their money through fake bank accounts. Police have seized 554 bank passbooks, 69 mobile phones, 704 debit and credit cards, and frozen nearly ₹90 lakh in bank deposits. The details were shared by the Police Commissioner during a press conference in Cuttack.
