ପାପର ପ୍ରାୟଶ୍ଚିତ ପାଇଁ ପୁରୀରେ ବରଗଡ଼ ଧନୁଯାତ୍ରାର କଂସ। ମହୋଦଧିରେ ବୁଡ଼ ପକାଇ କ୍ଷମା ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କଲେ କଂସ ମହାରାଜ। ପଇତା ବିସର୍ଜନ ସହ ସୂର୍ଯ୍ୟ ଦେବତାଙ୍କୁ ଅର୍ଘ୍ୟ ପ୍ରଦାନ କରିଥିଲେ। ଗୋବର୍ଦ୍ଧନ ପୀଠରେ ଜଗତଗୁରୁ ଶଙ୍କରାଚାର୍ଯ୍ୟଙ୍କୁ ଭେଟି ଆଶିଷ ଭିକ୍ଷା କରିଛନ୍ତି। ବୃହତ୍ ମୁକ୍ତାକାଶ ରଙ୍ଗମଞ୍ଚରେ ୧୧ ଦିନ ଧରି ଚାଲିଥିଲା ଧନୁଯାତ୍ରା।

Kansa Maharaj from Bargarh Dhanu Yatra arrived in Puri to seek penance for sins. He took a holy dip in the Mahodadhi and prayed for forgiveness, performed paita bisarjan and offered arghya to the Sun God. Kansa Maharaj also met the Jagatguru Shankaracharya at Govardhan Peeth and sought his blessings. The Dhanu Yatra was held for 11 days at the Bada Akasha Rangamanch.
