କଏଦୀଙ୍କ କମାଲ । ପନିପରିବା ଚାଷ କରି ଚର୍ଚ୍ଚାରେ ବଲାଙ୍ଗୀର ଜେଲର କଏଦୀମାନେ । ବିନା ସାରରେ ଜୈବିକ ପନିପରିବା ଚାଷ କରିବା ସହିତ ଜେଲ୍ ନିକଟରେ ଖୋଲା ବଜାରରେ ପରିବା ବିକ୍ରି କରୁଛନ୍ତି କଏଦୀ । ଏହା ସହିତ କଏଦୀ ମାନେ ବେଶ ଦିପଇସା ରୋଜଗାର କରି ପରିବାର ନିକଟକୁ ଟଙ୍କା ପଠାଉଛନ୍ତି ।

Prison inmates of Balangir Jail have drawn attention by cultivating vegetables and becoming self-reliant through farming. The inmates are growing organic vegetables without using chemical fertilisers inside the jail premises.

The vegetables grown by the inmates are being sold at an open market near the jail, helping them earn a decent income. Through this initiative, the inmates are also sending money to support their families.
