During the BJD Foundation Day event in Ghasipura, leader Badri Patra openly criticized Babi Das and Pandian. He blamed them for the party’s electoral defeats and alleged unfair distribution of election tickets. The public confrontation highlighted internal conflicts within the Biju Janata Dal.

Badri Patra stated that ticket allocation during elections was not done properly and that Babi Das failed to even support candidates like Akash Das. He also accused Babi of treating himself as the party owner and involving family members in political battles.
