Australia to Delete Social Media Accounts of Children Below 16, Heavy Fine for Violations

୧୬ ବର୍ଷରୁ କମ୍ ପିଲାମାନଙ୍କୁ ଫେସବୁକ୍, ଇନଷ୍ଟାଗ୍ରାମ୍, ସ୍ନାପଚଟ୍, ଥ୍ରେଡ୍ସ, ଟିକଟକ୍ ମନା। ଟ୍ୱିଚ୍, ଏକ୍ସ, ୟୁଟ୍ୟୁବ୍, କିକ୍ ଏବଂ ରେଡିଟ୍ ବ୍ୟବହାର ମନା। ଅବମାନନା କଲେ ୪୯.୫ ମିଲିୟନ ଅଷ୍ଟ୍ରେଲିଆନ୍ ଡଲାର ଜୋରିମାନା। ଭାରତୀୟ ଟଙ୍କାରେ ୨୮୩ କୋଟି ଟଙ୍କା ଜୋରିମାନା ପଡ଼ିବ।

Australia has enforced strict rules to delete social media accounts of children below the age of 16. Under the new regulation, platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Threads and TikTok have been barred for underage users.

In addition, the use of Twitch, X, YouTube, Kick and Reddit has also been prohibited for children below 16. Any violation of the rule will attract a penalty of up to 49.5 million Australian dollars, which amounts to around ₹283 crore in Indian currency.
