The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) has launched a detailed survey at Redhakhol in the Sambalpur district of Odisha following the discovery of prehistoric rock carvings and artefacts suggesting a 10,000-year-old human settlement beneath the soil. The initial exploration has begun in the Bhima Mandali area of the Rairakhol region, where experts are conducting systematic studies to uncover the ancient site.
