ଘଟଣା ଘଟିଛି ନୀଳଗିରି ଥାନା ଅଞ୍ଚଳରେ । ବନ୍ଧୁକ ମୁନରେ ଅପରାଧୀ ଲୁଟିନେଲେ ଲକ୍ଷାଧିକ ଟଙ୍କାର ସୁନା ଗହଣା। ରାସ୍ତାରେ ଜଗିବସିଛି ଲୁଟେରା। ସ୍କୁଟିର ଡିକି ଭିତରେ ଥିବା ସୁନାଗହଣା ଉପରେ ଥିଲା ଦୁର୍ବୃତ୍ତର ଆଖି। ଆଉ ଯେତେବେଳେ ସେ ସନ୍ତରାଗଡିଆ ପାଖ କୁଳିଗଡ଼ି ନିକଟରେ ପହଂଚନ୍ତି, ସେ ପଡିଯାନ୍ତି ଲୁଟେରାଙ୍କ ହାବୁଡରେ। ବ୍ଲାଙ୍କ୍ ଫାୟାରିଂ କରି ମୁଣ୍ଡରେ ବନ୍ଧୁକ ଲଗାଇ ଦେଇ ଭୟଭୀତ କରିଥିଲେ ଦୁର୍ବୃତ୍ତ। ଆଉ ଡିକି ଚାବି ହାତେଇଲା ପରେ ପ୍ରାୟ ୫୦ଲକ୍ଷରୁ ଅଧିକ ଟଙ୍କାର ଗହଣା ଲୁଟ୍‌କରି ଫେରାର ମାରିଛନ୍ତି ଲୁଟେରା
The incident took place under the Nilgiri police station limits. Armed criminals looted gold ornaments worth lakhs of rupees at gunpoint.
The miscreants had their eyes on the gold jewellery kept inside the dickey of his scooter. When he reached near Kuligadi close to Santaragadia, he fell into the trap of the robbers. The criminals fired blank shots and held a gun to his head, threatening and terrorizing him. After snatching the key to the scooter’s dickey, they looted gold ornaments worth over ₹50 lakh and fled the scene.
