Senior IAS officer Anu Garg has been appointed as the new Chief Secretary of Odisha. The General Administration Department issued a formal notification in this regard on Monday.

The tenure of the present Chief Secretary, Manoj Ahuja, will come to an end on the 31st, following which Anu Garg will take over the top administrative post in the state.

Anu Garg is a 1991-batch IAS officer. As per the notification, her tenure as Chief Secretary will continue till March 2029.
