An Ama Bus driver has reiterated the company’s safety protocols by emphasising that the bus will not be driven above 35 km/h under any circumstances. He said that while time schedules are provided, drivers sometimes face delays, but they are still expected to drive with caution, maintain safe distances from other vehicles, and treat passengers courteously. The current safety rules for the popular urban transport service do not allow speeds above the specified limit to avoid accidents.
