କ୍ରମାଗତ 'ଆମ ବସ୍' ଦୁର୍ଘଟଣା ପରେ ଚେତିଲା ପରିବହନ ବିଭାଗ। କଡ଼ାକଡ଼ି ହେଲା ଯାଞ୍ଚ। ବସ୍ ଫିଟନେସ୍, ଚାଳକ ସ୍ଥିତି ଓ ସଡ଼କ ସୁରକ୍ଷା ନିୟମର ଯାଞ୍ଚ ହେଉଛି। ପରିବହନ କମିଶନର ଅମିତାଭ ଠାକୁରଙ୍କ ନେତୃତ୍ୱରେ ଟିମ୍ ଗଠନ ହୋଇଛି। ଭୁବନେଶ୍ବର ମାଷ୍ଟରକ୍ୟାଣ୍ଟିନ ଡିପୋରେ ସ୍ବତନ୍ତ୍ର ଏନଫୋର୍ସମେଣ୍ଟ ଟିମ୍ ଯାଞ୍ଚ କରିଛି। ଡିପୋ ବାହାରେ ପୋଲିସ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ବ୍ରେଥ ଆନାଲାଇଜର ଜରିଆରେ ଯାଞ୍ଚ କରାଯାଉଛି। ଏପଟେ ମାଷ୍ଟରକ୍ୟାଣ୍ଟିନ ଛକରେ କମିଶନରେଟ୍ ପୋଲିସ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ଯାଞ୍ଚ କରାଯାଉଛି। ଏଣିକି ନିୟମିତ ଯାଞ୍ଚ ଜାରି ରହିବ ବୋଲି କହିଛନ୍ତି କମିଶନର।

Following a series of Ama Bus accidents, the Transport Department has intensified inspections in Bhubaneswar. Checks are being carried out on bus fitness, drivers’ condition and road safety compliance. Special enforcement teams led by Transport Commissioner Amitabh Thakur inspected the Master Canteen depot, while police conducted breath analyser tests. Authorities said regular checks will continue.
