Minister Prithviraj Harichandan stated that an all-party committee was formed to decide the hike in salaries of Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs). Members from all political parties were part of the committee, and their collective opinions were later presented in the Odisha Legislative Assembly in the form of an Act.
