In a major development in the Aiginia hoarding collapse case in Bhubaneswar, Bharatpur Police have arrested Sambit Mohanty, an employee of the concerned hoarding agency. The arrest follows the fatal incident that occurred yesterday afternoon.

According to police, the hoarding was installed by M/s Motro Sile, and Mohanty was responsible for its installation. Despite lacking required structural safety measures and without taking approval from higher authorities, the hoarding was allegedly erected in an unsafe manner. Police stated that negligence in installation and maintenance led to the collapse. The accused has been forwarded to court after investigation.
