Within two days of the shocking murder of a tea stall owner in front of Rourkela Railway Station in Sundargarh district, five people have been arrested, police said. The deceased has been identified as Avinash/Abhinash Yadav, who ran a tea stall near the station and was attacked with sharp weapons late Friday evening.

According to the Rourkela SP’s information, the accused stabbed Yadav multiple times, leading to his death at the scene. Police have seized two four-wheeled vehicles, five mobile phones, the knife used in the attack, and other items believed to be connected to the crime as evidence.

The motive behind the murder remains under investigation, and officers are continuing efforts to recover additional evidence and gather witness statements. This brutal stabbing has raised concerns among locals about safety near busy public spots like railway stations.
