3 Odisha Courts Get Bomb Threats via Email; Kandhamal SP Reveals Details

Bomb threats via anonymous emails targeted three district courts in Odisha (Cuttack, Phulbani in Kandhamal, and Puri), warning of explosions and urging evacuation. The threats caused immediate evacuation, searches by bomb squads and sniffer dogs, but no explosives were found, confirming hoaxes. Kandhamal SP (Phulbani area) stated that the email to Phulbani Court contained threats to blow up the premises, similar to those in other courts. Investigations are ongoing to trace the sender (possibly using VPN/dark web, some linked to fake LTTE-named accounts in past waves). This follows recent similar hoaxes disrupting courts statewide.
