The Odisha government has announced that under the flagship Subhadra Yojana, financial assistance will be credited to the accounts of 4,57,681 eligible women by 18 January, Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida said, fulfilling the Chief Minister’s assurance; this announcement covers a large group of beneficiaries who applied under the scheme, and Parida appealed to women awaiting funds to check their status, adding that disbursement is progressing and will benefit tens of thousands across the state — Subhadra Yojana provides yearly financial support directly into bank accounts of women.
