Surendra Muduli from Lankaput village in Koraput proves that disability can never defeat determination. Born with one leg and only 50% function in one arm, Surendra has built remarkable fitness through years of hard training.

Every day, he travels 9 km to the Koraput Municipality Gym, trains in powerlifting, and dreams of representing his district and the nation. Despite his challenges, he teaches exercise to youngsters, works in the fields, and helps villagers during emergencies.

Surendra lost his right leg in childhood after a severe infection, but he never gave up. The support of his gym friends keeps him motivated, though financial constraints remain a big hurdle.

If the district administration steps forward with assistance, Surendra can go far in powerlifting and become a symbol of true grit. His journey proves that strong willpower can turn any “impossible” into possible.
