Durgapur police arrest victim’s boyfriend in gang rape case of Odia medical student

ପଶ୍ଚିମବଙ୍ଗରେ ଓଡ଼ିଆ ଡାକ୍ତରୀ ଛାତ୍ରୀଙ୍କୁ ଗଣଦୁଷ୍କର୍ମ ମାମଲାରେ ପୀଡ଼ିତାଙ୍କ ବୟଫ୍ରେଣ୍ଡଙ୍କୁ ଗିରଫ କଲା ଦୁର୍ଗାପୁର ପୋଲିସ। କ୍ୟାମ୍ପସ ବାହାରକୁ ନେବା ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରବର୍ତ୍ତାଇ ଥିବା ଅଭିଯୋଗରେ ଗିରଫ। ଆସନ୍ତାକାଲି ଗିରଫ ବୟଫ୍ରେଣ୍ଡକୁ କରାଯିବ କୋର୍ଟ ଚାଲାଣ। ଆସାନସୋଲ୍-ଦୁର୍ଗାପୁର ପୋଲିସ କମିଶନରେଟ୍ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ସୂଚନା। ଏଯାବତ୍ ବୟଫ୍ରେଣ୍ଡକୁ ମିଶାଇ ଗିରଫଦାରୀ ସଂଖ୍ୟା ୬କୁ ବୃଦ୍ଧି।

Durgapur police in West Bengal have arrested the boyfriend of an Odia medical student accused in a gang rape case. The arrest was made following allegations that the accused tried to forcibly take the victim outside the campus. Including the boyfriend, the total number of arrests has now increased to six. The boyfriend is scheduled to be produced in court tomorrow. This information was confirmed by the Asansol-Durgapur Police Commissionerate.
