Ahead of the India–South Africa T20 match scheduled for December 9 at Barabati Stadium, chief curator Ashish Bhowmik inspected the pitch preparations on Tuesday. The Odisha Cricket Association’s chief curator, along with other ground staff, reviewed the playing conditions.

A total of three pitches have been readied for the high-profile T20 match, and final assessments are underway to ensure an optimal batting surface. Officials stated that all preparations are on track for the international fixture.

The pitch inspection marks a key step in final readiness as Barabati gears up to host the India–South Africa clash.
