ରାଜ୍ୟରେ ପ୍ରଥମ କମ୍ପାଉଣ୍ଡ ସେମିକଣ୍ଡକ୍ଟର ପ୍ରକଳ୍ପ ଶିଳାନ୍ୟାସ କଲେ ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ମୋହନ ଚରଣ ମାଝୀ। ଇନଫୋଭ୍ୟାଲିରେ ଶିଳାନ୍ୟାସ କଲେ ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ। ଏହି ସମୟରେ କେନ୍ଦ୍ର ସୂଚନା ଓ ପ୍ରସାରଣ, ରେଳ ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଅଶ୍ୱିନୀ ବୈଷ୍ଣବ ଭିସିରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ଥିଲେ। ତେବେ ଏହାକୁ ଖୁସି ଓ ଆନ୍ନଦର ମୁହୂର୍ତ୍ତ ବୋଲି କହିଛନ୍ତି ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ। "ମେକ୍ ଇନ୍ ଇଣ୍ଡିଆ" ଏବଂ "ଡିଜିଟାଲ୍ ଇଣ୍ଡିଆ"ର ଦୃଷ୍ଟିକୋଣ ସହିତ ଏହି ପ୍ରକଳ୍ପ ଭାରତର ସେମିକଣ୍ଡକ୍ଟର ଉତ୍ପାଦନ ଇକୋସିଷ୍ଟମକୁ ସୁଦୃଢ଼ କରିବା ଦିଗରେ ଏକ ପ୍ରମୁଖ ପଦକ୍ଷେପ।
