Senior BJD leader Prabhat Biswal has been expelled from the Biju Janata Dal just hours after making explosive allegations about the alleged misuse of ₹4,000 crore from the party’s accounts. Biswal had strongly opposed Santanu Mishra’s Rajya Sabha candidature and claimed that massive irregularities had taken place in the party fund, even raising questions over the remaining ₹800 crore.
